City cost & eligibility
Searcy publishes no mattress route and no mattress price. Confirm the item, the next collection route and any charge with the Sanitation Department at (501) 279-1000 before it goes out.
When & how
Call the Sanitation Department at (501) 279-1000 with the item and the address, then use the route the department confirms rather than setting a mattress out with the household garbage.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress out of the city-issued container, which the city says is for general household trash only, and clear of the three foot access zone around the container. If the department points to a roll-off bin, ask about the load limit before it is delivered.
The container goes out by 6 a.m. and comes in within a day
Containers go to the curb in front of the house no later than 6 a.m. on your ward's collection day, with handles and wheels facing away from the street. They may not go out before 5 p.m. the day before and may not stay at the curb longer than 24 hours after the collection day. One day a week is assigned by ward.

You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed. Dropcurb books a pickup day, not the retailer’s delivery window. Contact us before booking if access is limited to a short time.
