Your place. One easy pickup plan.
A house, a condo or an apartment. Choose an accessible outdoor spot that works for your property. You arrange the move outside; we take it from there.
If a new mattress is arriving, check whether your retailer is taking the old one. If you need Dropcurb, choose a day when you can have it outside. A delivery window and a pickup day are different arrangements.
2
Arrange the trip outside.
Plan for doorways, elevators and interior stairs before pickup day. You arrange any indoor carrying. Use a permitted outdoor location and keep entrances and the walking path open.
3
Make the right mattress easy to find.
Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. Add a location photo and clear access notes so your hauler can identify exactly what is going.

Confirmation when you book. A heads-up before arrival. Photos when it’s done.
No Pinal County page names a mattress on its accepted lists, so the county and the private hauler have to be asked before one is hauled anywhere.
City cost & eligibility
The county events are free and publish no mattress line, and the private hauler publishes no price for its bulk pickup, so confirm the item and any charge with Pinal County Public Works at 520-866-6685 or with the hauler before the mattress leaves the property.
When & how
Call before the Gold Canyon cleanup event on Jan. 8 and 9, 2027 or a sponsored free disposal day, and confirm whether a mattress is accepted; the private hauler lists a mattress as an example of its bulk pickup service.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry and wrapped, keep it out of any load aimed at the white appliance drop-off, and confirm the item before it is carried out, because the accepted lists do not name one.
Gold Canyon has no weekly bulky route, so furniture, appliances, home improvement debris, metal, concrete, car batteries, green waste and bagged household trash are taken to the Gold Canyon cleanup event at Gold Canyon Community Church, 5810 S Alameda Road, on Friday, Jan. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 9, 2027 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., or to a sponsored free disposal day during its published hours. Proof of residency may be asked for at the cleanup event.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
A household that would rather not wait for an event date, including a mattress, a refrigerator, yard debris or electronics.
Cost & conditions
The hauler publishes no price for its bulk, yard or electronics services, so the charge is quoted when service is arranged.
Arrange it
Contact the private hauler that publishes service for Gold Canyon and the nearby area, which offers scheduled trash and recycling pickup, dumpster rental, bulk pickup, yard debris removal and electronics handling.
The hauler page publishes no Gold Canyon franchise, no location and no price, so confirm service at your address and the accepted material before you rely on it.
Self-haul in Gold Canyon means an event day or a private facility. The county cleanup event for Gold Canyon residents is at Gold Canyon Community Church on Jan. 8 and 9, 2027 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the sponsored free disposal days run at the Cactus Landfill in Florence on Jan. 3, April 4, July 11 and Oct. 3, 2026 and at the Harmon Road site on Jan. 17, March 7, May 9, Sept. 5 and Dec. 19, 2026. Appliances have their own county drop-off at the Material Recovery Center on Adamsville Road. For anything the events will not take, the county lists private landfills and transfer stations and warns that they do not accept hazardous materials, while household chemicals go to Arcwood Environmental in Coolidge. Before you book
A few things worth knowing.
Mattress removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Gold Canyon.
How much does mattress removal cost in Gold Canyon?+
The price depends on the mattress size you choose. A queen mattress is $99 as the first item and $30 as an additional item. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Add any box spring or frame separately, then review your total and any applicable tax before payment.
Can I book same-day mattress pickup in Gold Canyon?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Have the mattress outside and accessible according to your confirmation. Your booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Is my box spring or bed frame included in mattress removal?+
The mattress price covers the mattress only. Add your box spring, bed frame or adjustable base separately if those are going too. Choose the size and type that match each item. The combined price appears before booking.
Will you carry my mattress downstairs or out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange to move the mattress out of your apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load it and take it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Check your building’s access rules before arranging the move outside.
Can you pick up my old mattress when my new one arrives?+
You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed. Dropcurb books a pickup day, not the retailer’s delivery window. Contact us before booking if access is limited to a short time.
Will the county take a mattress in Gold Canyon?+
Mattresses are not named on the Gold Canyon cleanup event list or on either sponsored free disposal list, so call Pinal County Public Works at 520-866-6685 before hauling one. The private hauler lists a mattress as an example of its bulk pickup, and it does not publish a price.Official guidance
Does Pinal County pick up bulky items at the curb in Gold Canyon?+
No curbside bulky route is published for Gold Canyon. The county instead runs a free residential cleanup event for Gold Canyon residents at the community church on Jan. 8 and 9, 2027, and sponsors free disposal days at two landfills in Florence. A private hauler can be hired for a pickup, and it publishes no price.Official guidance
Where do paint, oil and batteries go in Pinal County?+
The county names Arcwood Environmental, 284 E Storey Road in Coolidge, as the place where household hazardous waste can be properly disposed of. Latex paint can be dried with an equal part of kitty litter, or with a paint hardener, and then placed in the regular trash, and used syringes go into a taped puncture-proof container labelled for sharps and then into the trash.Official guidance
Where can I dump a trailer load near Gold Canyon?+
The county lists private landfills and transfer stations and states that they are private businesses, not county owned, that none of them accept hazardous materials and that restrictions differ and change. The closest published sites are RAD Recycling and Waste Transfer and the Republic landfill in Apache Junction, and the Republic transfer station on Hunt Highway in Florence. Call before you load.Official guidance
