Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Commercial, contractor and demolition debris is refused in the annual bulk appointment, so a renovation load never goes to the curb. The Transfer Station accepts construction debris as a self-haul load billed by weight, and the city also rents roll-off containers for a remodel or a construction project.

City cost & eligibility
The free annual appointment does not take construction material. The Transfer Station bills a construction load at the solid waste rate of $125.00 per ton with a $20.00 minimum load charge, and a roll-off container adds a $123.00 set fee and a $246.00 pull fee each service, with a $125.00 minimum disposal charge for a 13 yard box and $375.00 for a 20, 30 or 40 yard box. Confirm the material and the container size with the Solid Waste Division.
When & how
Keep the material off the curb. Take a self-haul load to the Transfer Station between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or arrange a roll-off container, which needs a site inspection before delivery and service at least once every 30 days.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of both curbside carts and out of the appointment pile. Secure, contain and cover a self-hauled load, keep the material level with the truck bed or trailer, and keep hazardous waste, tires and refrigerant appliances out of a roll-off container.

Items that never go out for collection

Tires, oil, propane tanks, automobile batteries, hazardous waste, concrete, blocks, brick, asphalt, stone and dirt are refused in the annual appointment. The hard material is still accepted at the Transfer Station as clean inert debris, which the station prices by weight, while wet paint, chemicals and rechargeable batteries follow the household hazardous waste event, up to five on-road tires go to the county waste tire yard, and used motor oil and antifreeze are taken free at the Transfer Station, up to five gallons per customer each month.

Haul the load to the Transfer Station

A household with a heavy couch, a mattress set, a television, an appliance or a load that is too large for the annual appointment.

Cost & conditions
From $20 for minimum load charge at the Transfer Station, with solid waste billed at $125.00 per ton, clean brush at $91.00 per ton and clean inert debris at $62.50 per ton. Any customer self-hauling a load to the Sundog Ranch Road Transfer Station. Every load is weighed and paid at the booth in cash, check or credit card, and an authorized solid waste charge account can be billed monthly instead.
Arrange it
Take the load to 2800 Sundog Ranch Road between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Secure, contain and cover the load first, because the city code requires it, then weigh in at the booth.

The station does not accept tires, paint, propane tanks, toxic or hazardous material, anything containing asbestos, car batteries, household hazardous waste, or an appliance that holds refrigerant without an evacuation certificate. Construction debris arrives as a self-haul load rather than through the bulk appointment.

Rent a roll-off container for a project

A household remodeling, landscaping or building project that produces construction material the annual appointment will not take.

Cost & conditions
The fee schedule lists a $123.00 set fee and a $246.00 pull fee for each service, plus a minimum disposal charge of $125.00 for a 13 yard container and $375.00 for a 20, 30 or 40 yard container, with solid waste billed at $125.00 per ton. Confirm the container size and the current rate with the Solid Waste Division before the inspection.
Arrange it
Request a site inspection first, because a city employee decides the container size and approves the placement. Once approved, set up the invoice account, then schedule delivery. Containers are serviced at least once every 30 days.

Hazardous waste, tires and appliances holding refrigerant may not go in the container, and some locations need a right-of-way permit. A pull charge and a disposal charge apply each time the container is serviced, and the city can remove the container once the 30 day limit is exceeded.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Prescott.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Prescott?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Prescott?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction debris go out with Prescott bulk collection?

No. Commercial, contractor and demolition debris is refused in the annual bulk appointment, and concrete, blocks, brick, asphalt, stone and dirt are on the same refusal list. A renovation load has to be self-hauled to the Transfer Station by weight or put in a rented roll-off container, which needs a site inspection first.Official guidance

Can I take a load to the Prescott Transfer Station myself?

Yes. The Transfer Station at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road is open Monday through Saturday and takes household garbage, construction debris, furniture, appliances and yard waste, with the charge calculated by weight at the booth. The load has to be secured, contained and covered, tires, paint, propane tanks, asbestos, car batteries and household hazardous waste are refused, and an appliance that holds refrigerant needs a licensed technician's evacuation certificate.Official guidance

Where do Prescott tires, paint and batteries go?

Tires are refused at the Transfer Station and in the annual appointment, and up to five on-road tires can go to the Yavapai County waste tire yard at 2650 Sundog Ranch Road on Tuesday through Thursday. Wet paint and chemicals belong at the city household hazardous waste event, and registration for the current event has closed with the next event expected in fall 2026. Alkaline batteries are bagged and tied into the trash, rechargeable batteries go to the hazardous waste event or a vendor, and car batteries go back to an auto store.Official guidance
