When & how
The stations operate from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with day patterns that differ by site: Cave Creek and Hassayampa run Wednesday through Saturday, Aguila is open Thursday and Friday, and Morristown is open Wednesday and Saturday, so check the site before loading.

Separate recyclables from the trash load because the recyclable streams carry no load charge, keep tires to five or fewer per visit with the rims off, keep used oil or antifreeze to five gallons per visit, and leave batteries, household hazardous waste, propane or refrigerant containers, asbestos, manure, radioactive material and wet cell batteries out of the load entirely because they are refused.
Furniture is priced per item at the county transfer stations, with a sofa or chair on its own published line, so a household can haul it in or send it with a private hauler.
