Put the appliance at the curb without blocking the sidewalk and keep it away from the trash containers. Empty the unit first, take the doors off a refrigerator so it cannot be entered, and leave nothing loose inside it.
Put the cleanup pile at the curb, not in the alley
Everything for the Neighborhood Cleanup goes at the curb. Do not block the sidewalk or set items near the trash containers, and do not use the alley unless the home faces Avenue A. Keep anything you want to keep away from the curb, because the pile is collected as it sits.
The city sends different crews for different materials, so appliances, tires, tree branches and limbs, and miscellaneous items each go in their own pile. Loose items must be bagged and light enough for two people to handle, staying under 50 pounds, and tree limbs must be under four feet, tied in bundles that also stay under 50 pounds. Up to five tires without rims are allowed per residence, and rims are refused.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Yes. Add one Washing machine and one Dryer so both units are included in the price. They are separate items, even when you bought them as a set. If yours is a single combined unit or the machines still need to be unstacked, contact us before booking to confirm the scope.
Will you disconnect my appliance or carry it out?+
Dropcurb picks up appliances that are already disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange uninstallation, utility disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Use a qualified professional for gas, hardwired or plumbing connections when needed. We handle loading and haul-away from the outdoor pickup spot.
Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. Select the old appliance, choose a pickup day and arrange for it to be disconnected and accessible outside. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.
