Keep the screen whole, wipe or reset anything that stores data, and never put a television, monitor or battery in a cart. At a county center the waste is accepted from Orange County residents only, with a maximum of 15 gallons or 125 lbs per vehicle per trip and containers no larger than 5 gallons, and tires, asbestos, ammunition, explosives, high-pressure cylinders and commercial waste are refused.
Batteries, thermostats, fluorescent tubes, cathode ray tubes such as televisions and monitors, high intensity discharge and sodium vapour lamps, aerosol cans that are not completely empty, mercury items, electronic waste, medications and sharps cannot go to the landfill or the recycling center and have to be separated from the trash and recycling containers.
