Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

No published rate covers an exercise machine. If CR&R accepts it, the work falls under the bulky item service, so confirm the item and the current charge at (877) 728-0446 before the pickup.

Get it ready
Break the machine down where you can and keep every piece within what a two-person crew can handle, then ask whether any console, screen or battery has to be handled as universal waste instead of riding with the frame.
A bulky item is anything that will not fit in the automated carts and that a two-person crew can manage, and CR&R collects bulky items and white goods from the curbside by arrangement. The rate sheet prices the on-call pickup for up to four items, and larger containers from three yards to forty yards can be ordered for clean-out projects.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Aliso Viejo single family households with a couch, mattress, appliance or other item too large for the automated carts.
Cost & conditions
$34.88 per single family dwelling bulky item on-call pickup of up to four items, at the rate effective 1 July 2026 in the city solid waste collection rate sheet. City of Aliso Viejo single family dwellings served by the CR&R franchise. The earlier 1 July 2025 rate for the same line is also printed on the sheet, so confirm the current charge when you book.
Arrange it
Call CR&R customer service at (877) 728-0446, describe the items, and set them out on the day the hauler confirms. New residents can also ask about the move-in special for paper, cardboard and packing material.
Up to four items in one on-call pickup, and every item has to be manageable by a two-person crew. Anything left outside the carts without a booking is not collected, and universal waste, paint and chemicals cannot ride this load.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
