Call Alameda County Industries on (510) 483-1400 to book the pickup. Appointments are not available during the first two full weeks in January or the first full week of June and October, so schedule in advance.
Get it ready
Put the furniture within three feet of the curb by 6 a.m. on the scheduled day and no more than 24 hours early, and keep it clear of the street and sidewalk. Furniture is exempt from the item weight limit, but it still has to be handled safely by two people, and the whole single-family load is capped at seven cubic yards.

Canyonlands residents coordinate a collection location with Alameda County Industries instead of the standard curb.
