A loveseat, a sleeper and a sectional can look similar in a photo. Match the shape and features so your online price covers what is actually going.
This example has three structural sections. The cushions do not add to the count.
A straight sofa or loveseat
Choose Standard sofa for fixed seats with no pull-out bed or reclining mechanism. One whole sofa is one item.
A sectional
Count its structural sections, not the loose cushions. Choose the piece count, then check for a sleeper or reclining feature. One sectional booking covers the configuration you select.
A pull-out bed or reclining seats
Choose Sleeper sofa or Reclining sofa for those mechanisms. A single reclining chair has its own Recliner choice. All sofa types also includes futons and sofas with a chaise.

A house, a condo or an apartment. Choose an accessible outdoor spot that works for your property. You arrange the move outside; we take it from there.
Furniture is named on the hauler's bulky item list, so a couch leaves on one of the four free bulky pickups rather than in a cart.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Furniture counts toward the free bulky item pickup, four a year of up to six items each, under the city franchise.
When & how
Book the bulky pickup with EDCO at (619) 287-7555 and set the piece out for that collection.
Get it ready
Keep furniture out of the carts, because the trash cart takes household trash only and an overfilled cart is not serviced. Carpet, rugs and book shelves ride the same bulky route, and the load still has to stay within six items and about three cubic yards.
Call EDCO at (619) 287-7555 to book one of the four yearly bulky collections, which take up to six items and about three cubic yards each. Wrap a mattress before set-out, keep the load to items generated in the home, and leave construction debris, hazardous waste, electronics, medical waste, automobile parts and tires off the pile.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.
Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?+
You do not need to be home when your booked sofa is outside and accessible. Add photos and pickup-location notes to your order so the right pieces are easy to identify. We send updates and completion photos. Confirm any building access restrictions with us before booking.
