Get it ready
Wipe personal data from computers, phones and tablets before they leave the house, keep devices out of the carts because the hauler lists electronic waste as illegal in the barrels, and keep each load inside the county transport limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds in containers no larger than five gallons.
Bulky pickups are scheduled with Burrtec at (909) 889-1969 and are collected on the regular collection day by a different truck than the carts. Up to four collections a year are free with five items each, extra items and extra trips carry published charges, and the items have to be set where the agent directs so they are not left behind.
Household hazardous waste goes to a county collection facility rather than any cart. Before transporting, keep the load at or under 15 gallons or 125 pounds in containers no larger than five gallons, and make sure every container is sound, sealed and not leaking.
