A new use for the same space, once the old machine is outside and gone.

Room for what comes next

Your space can have a new purpose.

A home office. Room for a guest. A little more floor to enjoy. When an old machine is in the way, a clear pickup plan makes the next step easier.

The room is changing.

Book the equipment you are ready to let go of, whether it is one exercise bike or several machines. See the total before making the plan.

A replacement is coming.

Check whether your retailer includes removal. If the old treadmill is still your responsibility, give it a pickup day of its own.

It is not making the move.

Settle the price online, arrange to have it outside, and follow the pickup through text updates and completion photos. One less thing to coordinate before the keys change hands.

Match the machine

The right choice covers the right equipment.

Choose by the type of equipment. A brand name does not mean a different item, but a walking pad and a full treadmill do.

Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?

Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.

An exercise bike, elliptical or rower

Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.

Weights, racks and benches

Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Ready for pickup

Plan the move outside before pickup day.

A machine can be too heavy or awkward for a solo move. Arrange suitable help for indoor carrying, stairs or any dismantling needed to reach the outdoor pickup spot.

A pickup day is not an exact arrival window. Tell us before booking about a shared loading area, restricted outdoor access or equipment whose size or setup you are unsure how to select.

Your place. One easy pickup plan.

A house, a condo or an apartment. Choose an accessible outdoor spot that works for your property. You arrange the move outside; we take it from there.

Text us about your setup
  1. Check the route and the model.

Measure doors and turns, and check the manufacturer’s moving instructions. Folding and moving methods vary by model. Have any required disassembly handled before pickup; we start outside.

  2. Book a day you can be ready.

Choose from the available pickup dates before moving the machine out. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. Book by 2pm at the pickup address for same-day pickup.

  3. Make the equipment easy to identify.

Place the booked equipment in an accessible outdoor spot. Keep any separated parts together, add a photo and clear location notes to your order, and leave the approach clear.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Lancaster keeps the bulky picks on the curb, so what a household actually drives is household hazardous and electronic waste. The Antelope Valley Environmental Collection Center at 1200 West City Ranch Road in Palmdale, run jointly by the Cities of Lancaster and Palmdale with CalRecycle, Los Angeles County and WM, takes household hazardous and electronic waste free from Antelope Valley residents on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a county limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds per trip. The same address has a reuse center where county residents pick up unused products such as household cleaners, garden care and paint free, up to five items a week. A residential account in good standing also carries two free electronic voucher visits a year to the Lancaster Landfill & Recycling Center at 600 E. Ave. F for household trash, bulky items or green waste up to one ton a visit, with identification matching the account holder at the scale house and the posted gate rate for anything beyond that. A renovation load needs a hauler container instead, because construction waste is not accepted in the trash cart.
