The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

An On Call Plus cleanup is an appointment booked with Recology at 650-967-3034, and the City asks that the appointment be made before any items are set out. The pile may be no larger than four feet high, four feet wide and eight feet long plus up to three bulky goods, with bags, boxes and bundles under 50 pounds, and everything has to be at the curb by 7 a.m. on the appointment day.

Hazardous waste drop-off is by appointment only through the Santa Clara County household hazardous waste program at 408.299.7300, and the hauler states it is illegal to put hazardous waste in the trash or down a drain or gutter. Batteries can go in a sealed bag on top of the split cart with the terminals taped or to the Recycling Center or the SMaRT Station, medications go to the confidential drop box in the Mountain View Police and Fire Administration lobby at 1000 Villa Street, paint goes to PaintCare locations or the SMaRT Station, and sharps go to providers, pharmacies or a MED-Project location.Official guidance
The recycling cart is split into one side for mixed paper and cardboard and the other for bottles and cans, and it is collected with a fully automated truck that keeps the two streams apart until they reach the SMaRT Station.
