A mattress is named in the hauler's acceptable bulky list and in the municipal code definition of bulky waste, so bedding leaves on the same free pickup or drop-off. The hauler publishes one preparation rule with it: the mattress has to be wrapped in plastic.

Get it ready
Wrap the mattress in plastic before it goes out, because the hauler lists that requirement with the item, and keep it out of the trash and recycling carts.

The drop-off is at 25950 Springbrook Ave, Suite 202, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the third Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, where the resident checks in with an address and identification. Either route can be repeated up to four times a year at no additional cost.
