Keep the mattress and box spring dry, out of every cart and separate from other waste on a landfill run, because a mattress mixed into a trash load is charged at the hard to handle rate. Lamb Canyon accepts mattresses for recycling from residential customers only.
The two free bulky pickups run on your collection day

The city and CR&R sponsor a citywide clean up for Temecula residents, who show proof of residency such as a California driver's licence, a California ID card, a recent utility bill or a property tax statement. Recent events ran from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and took large bulky items, green waste, motor oil, antifreeze, electronic waste, car batteries and small empty gas operated equipment, while household batteries, chemicals, empty drums, fluorescent light tubes, paint, pesticides, thermostats, tires, sharps and other hazardous waste were refused.
