Get it ready
Water heaters are named among the normal items. An appliance on the exclusion list is not collected, so confirm the unit before setting it out.
Under Ordinance No. 53 of the Midway City Sanitary District, no curbside container may be placed next to a street more than 24 hours before collection time, every container must be removed from the street within 12 hours after collection, and containers must be kept where they are not visible from the street.
The District observes New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. When the holiday falls on or before your service day, refuse collection is one day later for the entire week, and service does not change on any other holiday.
