Get it ready
Cover the load, which must be secured before arrival because uncovered loads are charged twice the load price, and separate shingles, which are priced by the yard. Friable asbestos is refused, liquids need the landfill's paperwork, and the county's hazardous waste center takes paint, chemicals and batteries.
Applewood is an unincorporated Jefferson County community, so there is no city collection department and no municipal bulky pickup.
