The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Aurora’s final Pedal Point residential event ended in July 2026. DADS lists electronic waste as accepted for an additional charge.

Remove personal data when possible. Keep electronics separate from ordinary landfill-bound waste and disclose broken screens, batteries or unusual equipment.
Direct drop-off rules differ by destination. Secure the load, keep restricted materials separate and confirm item condition, hours and price. A donation center can reject an item that is not approved, clean and working; a recycling or disposal site may apply material-specific charges.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Providers do not serve every neighborhood or offer the same bulky services. Approval for one item does not establish acceptance for electronics, appliances, construction debris or a mixed load.
WM lists bulky items, municipal solid waste, construction and demolition debris, drywall, wood, concrete, metals, glass and mixed loads. Appliances and electronic waste are accepted for an additional charge.
No hazardous or liquid waste. Some waste streams require scheduling or advance approval. Call before travel to confirm the exact item, customer eligibility, current intake rules and complete price.

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.
Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?+

Does my old TV have to work?+
Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
Can I still use Aurora’s Pedal Point e-cycle event?+
No. Aurora says the July 2026 event was the last and the later 2026 events were canceled. Confirm a current receiver such as DADS before transporting the device.Official guidance
