The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

City cost & eligibility
From $30 for the facility fee at the Veolia Colorado household hazardous waste and electronics recycling center. Chemical and electronic waste is dropped off for that facility fee plus $1.66 per pound unless otherwise noted, credit cards only and by appointment. The county voucher program covers one facility fee per household for household chemicals, and the county electronics event charges per vehicle instead.

Book an appointment with Veolia at 303-526-8155 or online, then take the device to 9131 E. 96th Avenue in Henderson during its published hours, or register for the county electronics drop-off event at PedalPoint Solutions, 3251 Lewiston St., Suite 10, Aurora.
Get it ready
Erase personal data before the device leaves your hands, keep electronics out of the trash and out of a donation load because the ReStore refuses them, and check the item against Veolia's refusal list, which includes anything containing refrigerant, mercury or radioactive material.
Household chemicals and electronics do not go in the trash
Household hazardous waste and electronics do not belong in a curbside container. The county voucher program covers one facility fee per household at the Veolia recycling center in Henderson, where chemicals and electronics are accepted by appointment, and the county also runs a registered electronics drop-off event for residents each year.
Ask what the hauler takes before anything goes out
Each hauler sets its own bulky item terms and preparation rules, so ask before setting anything out. A mattress can be recycled at the Commerce City drop-off instead, working appliances and gently used furniture can go to a donation dock, and electronics have to go to the Veolia center or the county event rather than the curb.

The center takes household chemicals and electronics but refuses radioactive material and smoke detectors, pepper or bear spray, medical material including used needles, controlled substances, explosives, tires, compost, trash and Christmas trees. Payment is by credit card only and an appointment is required.
