Get it ready
At Spring Cleanup the piece goes on the curb by 7 a.m. in the waste pile, unless it is untreated wood or metal, and anything one person cannot lift with another is refused. Keep reusable furniture out of the waste pile and put it in the ARC donation pile instead.
Spring Cleanup wants three piles and a 7 a.m. start
Spring Cleanup is free and runs on four Saturdays by area, with 2026 dates of April 18, April 25, May 2 and May 9. Everything goes on the curb by 7 a.m., never in the driveway and never blocking a sidewalk, and anything placed later is not collected. The load is split into untreated wood and metal for recycling, general waste, and a clearly marked ARC pile for clothes and reusable items kept in a separate visible spot away from the curb, because wet items are not picked up.

Schedule a bulky item pickup with the hauler

Cost & conditions
$25 per item too large to be placed in a closed trash cart, on a scheduled service day. Broomfield residents in the Residential Waste Services programme, arranged with Waste Connections on 303-288-2100 or through the online pickup request form.
Arrange it
Call Waste Connections on 303-288-2100 or submit the online pickup request, get the scheduled service day and the set-out instructions, and have the item out as directed.
The fee is per item and no item list is published, so confirm the piece when scheduling. Freon appliances, electronics and the other Spring Cleanup refusals still need their own routes, and a missed return trip costs 65 dollars.

Request a free Thursday pickup through Resource Central, or take the donation to 6400 Arapahoe Rd in Boulder between Monday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and let the attendant greet you.
Donations must be reusable rather than waste, only lightly stained or unpainted lumber is taken at Spring Cleanup, and concrete, pavers, bricks, soil and sod are refused there and go to the fee-based facilities the city guide lists instead.

Will you carry my couch out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.
Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?+
You do not need to be home when your booked sofa is outside and accessible. Add photos and pickup-location notes to your order so the right pieces are easy to identify. We send updates and completion photos. Confirm any building access restrictions with us before booking.
