A few pieces, one pickup

Your room has changed. The old furniture can go.

The desk you no longer use. The dresser that doesn’t fit the new layout. The chairs left over after a move. Choose the pieces you’re done with and give them a pickup day, without arranging a quote visit.

Choose each piece

A table and four chairs are five items.

You don’t need to guess how much space your furniture fills in a truck. Match each piece to the catalog, then add its quantity. Your total updates as you go.

Tables and chairs

Choose the table, then add each chair separately. Coffee tables, side tables and dining tables have their own options. A large or substantially heavy table has a different choice.

Dressers and mirrors

Match the dresser’s overall size. Add a separate dresser mirror as its own item if it is leaving too. Empty drawers and keep the belongings you want before moving the dresser outside.

Desks and bookshelves

Choose by construction, not height alone. A basic desk is different from a heavy desk with a substantial body. A tall, lightweight bookcase can still be a standard bookshelf. Empty it first.

  1. Choose what leaves and what stays.

Count the furniture you want removed and empty drawers, shelves and cabinets. Add any other items to the booking instead of leaving an unlisted pile beside the furniture.

  2. Arrange the move outside.

You handle indoor carrying and any disassembly needed to get the furniture through your home. Plan for doorways, interior stairs and building access before pickup day.

  3. Show exactly what goes.

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear route to the furniture. Add a location photo and access notes. Keep the pickup items separate from furniture and belongings that are staying.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

Spring Cleanup wants three piles and a 7 a.m. start

Spring Cleanup is free and runs on four Saturdays by area, with 2026 dates of April 18, April 25, May 2 and May 9. Everything goes on the curb by 7 a.m., never in the driveway and never blocking a sidewalk, and anything placed later is not collected. The load is split into untreated wood and metal for recycling, general waste, and a clearly marked ARC pile for clothes and reusable items kept in a separate visible spot away from the curb, because wet items are not picked up.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Broomfield pairs a contracted curbside programme with two well established drop-off routes. Waste Connections collects trash weekly and recycling every other week under the city contract, and anything too large for a closed trash cart can be picked up for 25 dollars per item on a scheduled day arranged on 303-288-2100. The free Spring Cleanup is the big annual route, running on four Saturdays by area with three sorted piles on the curb by 7 a.m. and taking furniture, mattresses, non-freon appliances, carpet, drywall, fencing and lightly stained or unpainted lumber while refusing electronics, tires, freon appliances, concrete, soil, sod, liquids and household trash. Electronics and household chemicals go to the two annual appointment-only city events at the Broomfield Municipal Shops on 3951 W 144th Ave., where each household is limited to three electronic items, and chemicals can also go year-round and free to the Boulder County Hazardous Materials Management Facility at 1901 63rd St in Boulder by appointment, which does not take electronics. Cardboard goes to the Broomfield Recycling Center on Commerce Street, open around the clock, and branches go to the Tree Branch Recycling Facility on W. 124th Ave. City residential waste services page with the Waste Connections contract, the eligibility rules, the weekly and every-other-week schedule, cart sizes and change fees, the opt-out fee and the contact detailsCity residential waste services fees page with the per cart monthly charges, the extra bag and extra recycling cart prices, the bulky item fee per item, the return trip fee and the senior and military discountCity Spring Cleanup page with the free annual programme, the four area Saturday dates, the 7 a.m. curbside deadline, the three pile sorting rule, the accepted list and the refusal listCity household hazardous and electronic waste page with the two annual appointment events, the Municipal Shops address, the 2026 fall date, the three item electronics limit, the Boulder County year-round facility and the CHaRM electronics routeCity recycling guide with the building materials donation options, the Boulder County facility details and phone, the PaintCare stores, the concrete and hard to recycle facilities and the reusable item drop-offs

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Furniture removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Broomfield.

How much does furniture removal cost in Broomfield?

Choose the type and size of each piece to see its price. For example, a medium dresser is $79 as the first item or $29 as an additional item. Your total starts with the highest first-item price in your selection, then uses the additional-item price for every other item. Review the complete total and any applicable tax before payment.

Can I get same-day furniture pickup in Broomfield?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup and choose from the dates shown at checkout. Arrange to have the furniture outside according to your confirmation. You receive a text when your hauler is on the way and photos after collection.

Will you remove furniture from inside my apartment?

Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange indoor carrying, including any interior stairs or elevator trip. We load and take away the furniture from an accessible outdoor location. Check your building’s rules and plan the route out before booking.

Can you take several different furniture items in one pickup?

Yes. Add each piece and its quantity to one booking. A dining table and four chairs are five items; a separate mirror is not included with a dresser. You can mix eligible items from different rooms and review their combined total before paying.

Do I need to take furniture apart before pickup?

You arrange any disassembly needed to move the furniture out of your home and into an accessible outdoor pickup spot. Dropcurb does not provide indoor disassembly or carrying. If you are unsure which catalog choice matches a dismantled or unusual piece, send a photo and ask before booking.

Will Broomfield take a couch at Spring Cleanup?

Yes. Furniture is on the accepted list for the free Spring Cleanup, which runs on four Saturdays by area in the spring with everything on the curb by 7 a.m. Anything one person cannot lift with another is refused, so a heavy piece may need to be broken down or handled through the 25 dollar per item bulky pickup with Waste Connections.Official guidance

Who collects trash and bulky items in Broomfield?

Waste Connections of Colorado holds the city contract approved in September 2024 for weekly trash and every-other-week recycling, arranged on 303-288-2100 or customerservice5311@wasteconnections.com, with the city Sustainability team on 720-887-2278. Bulky items are either the hauler's 25 dollar per item pickup or the free Spring Cleanup the city and county runs each spring.Official guidance
