Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named on the Spring Cleanup accepted list or in the bulky item fee description, so a treadmill or weight machine has to be confirmed.

No published list or rate names an exercise machine. A piece that fits the Spring Cleanup rules would go free, and otherwise the Waste Connections bulky pickup is 25 dollars per item, so confirm the item with the hauler on 303-288-2100.

Get it ready
Describe the machine when you ask. Anything one person cannot lift with another is refused at Spring Cleanup, and metal parts go in the recycling pile while the rest goes in the waste pile.
Spring Cleanup wants three piles and a 7 a.m. start
Spring Cleanup is free and runs on four Saturdays by area, with 2026 dates of April 18, April 25, May 2 and May 9. Everything goes on the curb by 7 a.m., never in the driveway and never blocking a sidewalk, and anything placed later is not collected. The load is split into untreated wood and metal for recycling, general waste, and a clearly marked ARC pile for clothes and reusable items kept in a separate visible spot away from the curb, because wet items are not picked up.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Schedule a bulky item pickup with the hauler

The fee is per item and no item list is published, so confirm the piece when scheduling. Freon appliances, electronics and the other Spring Cleanup refusals still need their own routes, and a missed return trip costs 65 dollars.

Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
