Choose by the type of equipment. A brand name does not mean a different item, but a walking pad and a full treadmill do.
Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named on the cleanup event lists, which cover household waste, furniture, metal, refrigerators and e-waste, so a treadmill or weight machine has to be confirmed before the voucher is bought.
City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no exercise equipment entry and no separate price, so confirm with Evans Customer Service at (970) 475-1170 whether a machine is accepted inside the general household waste or metal category before buying a voucher. Anything accepted would ride the standard voucher load.
When & how
Ask during city hall hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and well before the event date.
Get it ready
Break the machine down as far as it will go, take off any console or battery pack so it can be handled separately as e-waste, and keep the frame out of the weekly carts and off the property's outdoor storage area until the event.
Buy the cleanup voucher and sort the load before the gate
The Community Cleanup Event runs on a voucher that covers a standard size pickup truck load of debris, sold at the Evans Community Complex customer service windows during normal business hours or at the gate on the day of the event, with proof of residency shown by a government issued photo ID or a current city utility bill. At the site the load has to be dumped in the location organized for its type, separating general trash, metal and tires, because that is what keeps the events running and the vouchers cheap.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

An Evans utility customer with household waste, yard waste, furniture, scrap metal, a refrigerator or freezer, or accepted e-waste to clear out.
Cost & conditions
$15 per cleanup voucher, with each voucher good for a standard size pickup truck load of debris, and tires charged separately on the published chart. Evans utility customers who pay for their trash service through their city bill, with proof of residency shown by a government issued photo ID or a current City of Evans utility bill. Vouchers are sold at the Community Complex customer service windows on weekdays or at the gate on the day of the event.
Arrange it
Buy the voucher in advance or at the gate, then take the sorted load to the event address between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the published date.
One standard pickup truck load per voucher, commercial waste is not allowed, tires are priced separately, and dirt, rock, concrete, roofing shingles, construction material, air conditioners, televisions, monitors and household chemicals are refused.

General household waste that is not commercial, yard waste, leaves, furniture, passenger vehicle tires at the published chart prices, scrap iron and metal, refrigerators and freezers, e-waste including computer towers, keyboards, mice, printers and home electronics, and tree limbs under eight inches in diameter and under ten feet long.
Open to Evans utility customers who pay for trash service through their bill, with proof of residency for the voucher, and one standard size pickup truck load per voucher. Refused: dirt, rock, concrete, roofing shingles, construction material or waste, televisions, computer monitors and displays, air conditioners, and any household hazardous waste product labelled danger, warning, caution or poisonous. Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
Enter the combined weight in pounds for your dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Booking rounds that total up to the next 10 lb unit: 25 lb uses three units. Stands, racks and benches are separate items and do not include the loose weights. Add each one that is going.
