The project is done. Get your space back.

The new bathroom is ready, but the old vanity is still outside. A replaced door is taking up space you need. Put those leftover items on a pickup plan, with the price settled and updates through the final haul-away.

Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Construction and demolition material

Not on the regular city route

Construction and remodeling debris is refused on the trash cart, the large item pickup, the rent-a-dumpster and the free landfill days.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction rate because none of its routes take the material. A project load needs a private hauler or container company, or a direct arrangement with the receiving landfill, so confirm the container size, the material rules and the price before work starts.
When & how
Arrange a private hauler or container company before the project produces debris, because the city routes exclude construction material and the residential dumpster refuses concrete, bricks, shingles, drywall, plaster, tile and lumber over three feet.
Get it ready
Keep construction debris out of the trash cart, the large item pile and the dumpster, keep paint, liquids and hazardous waste out of any container, and confirm the receiving site's accepted material before the load leaves.

With a new purchase

Have a private hauler take a construction or bulky load

A household or contractor with construction debris or a load the city routes refuse.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no rate for private hauling or containers, so a hauler or container company quotes its own price; confirm the material rules and the receiving site before booking.
Arrange it
Contact one of the private haulers the city lists, such as One Way Disposal, Republic Services, Waste Connections, Western Disposal or 1-800-GOT-JUNK, and confirm where the load is taken.

Nothing a Colorado landfill refuses can go in the load, so electronics, appliances holding refrigerant, tires, liquids and hazardous waste have to be separated first.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Longmont runs the collection itself, so the city routes come first. A large item pickup covers up to three items on your regular collection day for the published fee, two free landfill days a year take one level pickup truck load of large items and debris to Front Range Landfill in Erie with proof of residency, and a four cubic yard residential dumpster rents for a week between February and October with its own refusal list. Everything the large item route refuses has a published destination: household appliances are free at the Longmont Recycling Center, which also takes scrap metal, oil and batteries, large electronics and the first screen or mattress are handled at the October Hard to Recycle event, and household chemicals go to the Boulder County hazardous waste facility in Boulder free of charge to Longmont residents, with a city chemical drop-off day each August. Construction and remodeling debris has no city route at all, so a project load needs a private hauler or a container company. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Longmont.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Longmont?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Longmont?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can Longmont take construction debris?

Not on any city route. The trash cart refuses debris from construction, remodeling or demolition, the large item pickup refuses material produced by contracted services, the residential dumpster refuses concrete, bricks, shingles, drywall, plaster, tile and lumber over three feet, and the free landfill days are for household large items rather than project debris. A private hauler or a direct landfill arrangement is needed.Official guidance
