Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Get it ready
Take off loose weights, pedals and straps, fold the frame where the machine allows it, and remove any battery or console so nothing with a rechargeable battery goes into a cart or a pile. Keep the machine out of the green and blue carts.
Put the carts and any yard material at the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before collection or by 6:30 a.m. on the day, and bring the roll carts in by 7 a.m. the following day. Leave three feet of clearance around the carts, bag all household garbage, and keep yard debris inside the published limits of 20 sturdy bags or 32 gallon cans under 50 pounds each with no more than four cubic yards overall.

The city does not accept waste at the Solid Waste office, and the county household hazardous waste centers refuse the appliances that this route is meant to take.
