No charge. Large bulky items are collected on the zone schedule as part of the city solid waste service billed through the tax bill, up to ten cubic yards per pickup.

Get it ready
Keep everything within the ten cubic yard limit and five feet from obstacles, and keep tires, construction debris, paints, liquids, concrete and roofing materials out of the pile.
Cans and piles go out the evening before and come back in the same day
Garbage cans, recycling cans and bulky waste piles go at the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening before collection and no later than 4 a.m. the day of collection, and all cans must be removed from the curb by 8 p.m. that day. Cans and piles stay at least five feet apart from one another and clear of obstacles such as mailboxes, trees and cars, with containers facing the house.
The bulky pile is ten cubic yards with a specific refuse list
Large bulky items and yard waste go to the edge of the street on your property one day before the scheduled pickup and must not exceed ten cubic yards, five feet clear of obstacles. Appliances collected include stoves, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers and water heaters with refrigerator and freezer doors removed, and yard waste is limited to limbs under four inches in diameter and stumps under fifteen inches and fifty pounds.
