Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

The City publishes no rate for an item it does not name. Exercise equipment is not on the pickup list of furniture, appliances, mattresses, swing sets, large boxes and tree trimmings, so confirm whether the machine counts as an oversized item, how much volume it takes and what it costs with the Solid Waste Division at 407-518-2507.
When & how
Confirm with the Solid Waste Division first, then set the machine out by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled bulk collection day if it is accepted.
Get it ready
Describe the machine when you call, including whether it folds down and roughly how much curb space it takes, because the charge is based on the volume of the load. Break down or fold what comes apart, remove any loose weights or console, and keep it at least four feet from other objects and out of the sidewalk.
The City asks residents to call 407-518-2507 and say they are leaving bulk waste out for collection, and the same number handles a question about what will be taken. City crews cannot come onto private property, so the items have to be at the curb, and debris generated by a private contractor doing tree or remodeling work is not collected at all.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
