Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Televisions, computers and electronics

Accepted with preparation

Televisions are named on the city bulk trash list, and Flagler County takes the wider electronic waste list free at its Old Kings Road facility, with cathode ray tube and projection televisions excluded there.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. Televisions ride the free weekly bulk collection, and the county facility accepts recyclable and electronic material free from residents in limited quantities of less than 100 pounds a month.
When & how
Put a television out on the second service day, or take electronics to the Flagler County facility at 1700 South Old Kings Road, open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Get it ready
Wipe personal data before handover, keep electronics out of the recycling bin, and note the county exclusion: cathode ray tube and projection televisions are not accepted there, so an older tube set goes out with the city bulk trash instead.

Right item.
Right place.

Two service days a week, and the second takes the bulk

Residents have two service collection dates each week. The first takes normal household waste, and the second takes normal waste plus bulk items of less than three cubic yards. Receptacles are bought by the resident, between 10 and 35 gallons and no heavier than 60 pounds, up to four may go out, bagged waste must be inside a can, and everything sits in the collection area within five feet of the driveway.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Palm Coast keeps two curbside days and one county gate. FCC Environmental runs two service days a week: the first takes normal household waste and the second adds bulk items, with furniture, mattresses, televisions, dishwashers, stoves, washers and dryers all named and the pile capped at three cubic yards within five feet of the driveway. White goods such as refrigerators and hot water heaters go curbside separately with the doors removed, arranged through customer service with one to five days allowed for pickup, while yard waste has its own Wednesday collection and recycling runs weekly as a single stream. Everything chemical or electronic goes to the Flagler County recycling and household hazardous waste facility at 1700 South Old Kings Road, about a mile and a half south of State Road 100, free to residents under a 100 pound monthly limit and open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It takes batteries, fluorescent lights, cleaners, paint products, pesticides, pool chemicals, used oil and the full electronic list from desktops and monitors to flat panel televisions, but refuses cathode ray tube and projection televisions, which go out with the city bulk trash instead. Contractor-generated debris is the contractor's responsibility under city ordinance. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Palm Coast.

How much does TV removal cost in Palm Coast?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Palm Coast?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
