Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Special rules apply

Residential remodeling debris is accepted on the city bulk route provided the resident did the work, while licensed contractors have to remove their own debris at their own expense. A self hauled demolition load is charged at the county landfill's construction rate.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. Residential remodeling debris is included in the curbside collection when the resident performs the work, and contractor debris is excluded by the franchise; a self hauled load pays the county landfill rate instead.
When & how
Put the material out by 7:00 a.m. on a collection day and call Waste Pro at 386-492-8855 to confirm, or self haul during the Tomoka Landfill's Monday to Saturday hours.
Get it ready
Keep the material to a residential job the household did itself, because any contractor of any type must remove carpet, cabinet, tree and lawn debris at their own expense. A self hauled load is weighed at the scale and charged by material class.

Curbside by 7 a.m., and never before 7 p.m. the night before

Containers and bulk items go to the street before 7 a.m. on the collection day but no earlier than 7 pm the day before, and they come back in by 7 am the next morning. Pick up runs between 7 am and 7 pm, and collection happens on every holiday except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Contractors remove their own debris

Contractors of any type, including carpet, cabinet, tree services and lawn maintenance, must remove all debris, yard waste and tree debris at their own expense. Taking it somewhere yourself?

Port Orange runs its bulky program through the Waste Pro franchise rather than a transfer station of its own. Bulk household items such as furniture and appliances go out on the regular garbage collection day, large or multiple items wait for the neighborhood Claw Zone day, and the household calls 386-492-8855 so the crew knows the pile is there. Garbage is collected twice a week with bags inside cans of no more than 32 gallons or 50 pounds, yard waste is bagged or canned with branches bundled to four feet, and everything goes out by 7 a.m. with pick up running between 7 am and 7 pm. Residential remodeling debris is allowed when the resident does the work, while contractors of any type must remove their own debris at their own expense. Hazardous material and electronics do not ride the garbage: Volusia County takes household hazardous waste, sharps and obsolete electronics including televisions at the Tomoka Landfill at 1990 Tomoka Farms Road in Port Orange, open 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and at the West Volusia Transfer Station in DeLand, and a self hauled load of debris, yard trash, clean debris or white goods is weighed at the county scale and charged by material class. A mattress or an exercise machine has no published route at all, so the household confirms it with the hauler first. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Port Orange.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Port Orange?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Port Orange?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can remodeling debris go out for collection in Port Orange?

Yes, when the resident does the work: the city includes residential remodeling construction debris in the curbside bulk collection, and the hauler is called to confirm the pickup. Licensed contractors must remove debris at their own expense, and a household that self hauls instead pays the county landfill's construction and demolition rate at the scale.Official guidance
