Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition material

Special rules apply

Construction debris is refused on the Sanford bulk route, where the cleanup notice prints a clear no to construction debris, and the city publishes no municipal project programme. The county facilities in Longwood and Geneva are the self haul route for household material, and a contractor load normally needs its own container.

City cost & eligibility
The city refuses construction debris on the cleanup pile and publishes no project rate, and the county pages read here print no construction rate either, so confirm acceptance and price with the county at 407-665-2260 or with the container company before the load is built.
When & how
Keep project material off the cleanup pile, and either self haul household material to the county facilities or arrange a container from a private hauling company.
Get it ready
Separate construction material from household bulky items, keep hazardous leftovers such as paint and chemicals for the county tunnel rather than the load, and cover and secure anything that travels on a public road.

The county tunnel takes the material the city will not

The Household Hazardous Waste Tunnel inside the Seminole County Central Transfer Station at 1950 State Road 419 in Longwood accepts household chemicals, electronics, tires, automotive fluids, batteries and propane, and sharps are taken at the transfer station in a properly contained sealed container. The drop off is free to all Seminole County residents, including residents of the incorporated cities such as Sanford, and businesses are not permitted to use the programme. The tunnel is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the ReUse Shop inside it is open the same days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. where residents may take up to fifteen items a day with no more than five of any one item after signing a waiver.

The county gate and the landfill are open for self hauled loads

The Central Transfer Station at 1950 State Road 419 in Longwood opens Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a citizen drop off area separated from commercial traffic, and the Seminole County Landfill at 1930 Osceola Road in Geneva opens daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and accepts cash and credit cards, with the note that card connectivity at the landfill may occasionally be limited. The county pages read here print no disposal rate, so the price of a self hauled load is confirmed at the gate.

Self haul to the county transfer station or landfill

A household with a truck or trailer load of household material that the cleanup pile will not take.

Cost & conditions
The county pages read here print no disposal rate, so the price of a self hauled load is confirmed at the gate. The landfill accepts cash and credit cards, with card connectivity occasionally limited.
Arrange it
Drive to the Central Transfer Station at 1950 State Road 419 in Longwood, open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or to the Seminole County Landfill at 1930 Osceola Road in Geneva, open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hazardous material is refused at the gate and goes to the tunnel instead, and the county publishes no rate for the load.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self hauling from Sanford means the county. The Seminole County Central Transfer Station at 1950 State Road 419 in Longwood opens Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and keeps a citizen drop off area separate from commercial traffic, and the Seminole County Landfill at 1930 Osceola Road in Geneva opens daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and takes cash and cards, although card connectivity at the landfill is occasionally limited. Neither county page read here prints a tipping rate, so the price comes from the gate. Hazardous material does not go over the scale: the Household Hazardous Waste Tunnel inside the transfer station takes household chemicals, electronics, tires, automotive fluids, batteries and propane, with sharps in a properly contained sealed container, free to any Seminole County resident including residents of the incorporated cities, Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the ReUse Shop beside it is open the same days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Inside the city the bulky route is the annual free Community Clean-Up Day, with piles limited to twenty cubic yards, two person manageable, no item over fifty pounds and nothing longer than five feet or thicker than five inches, and appliances and tires arranged separately at 407-688-5089. County landfill open daily for self hauled loads and the boat disposal route

Seminole County Landfill

1930 Osceola Road, Geneva, FL 32732

Self hauled landfill loads at a Class I facility with a gas to energy plant on site. Entire boats are accepted only by appointment after hazardous materials are removed and an inspection is performed, with the resident transporting the vessel and rates based on weight.

Hazardous material belongs at the household hazardous waste tunnel rather than the landfill, the facilities serve Seminole County residents and commercial customers, and boat disposal requires a prior inspection appointment with fuel, batteries, flares and wiring removed.

Daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Cash and credit cards are accepted, with the note that card connectivity at the landfill may occasionally be limited.

The county pages read here print no tipping rate, so the price of a self hauled load or a boat disposal is confirmed with the Solid Waste Management Division, which the city lists at 407-665-2260.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Sanford.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Sanford?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Sanford?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction debris go in the Sanford cleanup pile?

No. The city's cleanup notice prints a clear no to construction debris along with hazardous waste, and Sanford publishes no municipal programme for project material. Household loads can go to the Seminole County facilities, the Central Transfer Station at 1950 State Road 419 in Longwood or the landfill at 1930 Osceola Road in Geneva, and a contractor load is normally arranged through a private container company, with the county at 407-665-2260 able to confirm acceptance and price.Official guidance

Who collects trash in Sanford?

City Hall answers at 407-688-5000, the cleanup and appliance questions go to 407-688-5089, and household hazardous waste, electronics, tires and sharps go to the Seminole County facility at 1950 State Road 419 in Longwood, with the county reachable at 407-665-2260.Official guidance
