The local disposal guide
St. Cloud collects its own residential trash, recycling and bulk material through the Public Works Solid Waste Division. Bulky pickup is scheduled weekly for the large items that will not fit in the bins, with furniture and appliances named as examples, and the fee schedule prices a special pickup from a two cubic yard minimum that the city describes as about the size of a washer and dryer side by side. The city also runs a Transfer Station at the same street address, open Monday through Saturday, which takes construction and demolition debris, white goods including refrigerators and air conditioners, household electronics, mattresses with an eight piece limit per customer, yard waste and flattened cardboard, and charges those loads by weight. Household hazardous materials have a residents-only drop-off area there.
