We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.
Doors
Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

The district takes only minor remodeling debris generated by the homeowner, naming sinks, toilets and cabinets. Construction debris and commercial lawn debris are refused, and contractors are required to remove their own material.
City cost & eligibility
The district charge for a bulk pickup covers the scheduled route, but a load that exceeds policy limits, needs special handling or came from contractor work can draw an additional fee at the District's discretion, and Sumter County charges separately at its drop-off area for brush, construction and demolition debris. Confirm the material and the amount before the load leaves the property.
When & how
Schedule homeowner-generated material with the district number for the address, or take a county-accepted load to the Citizen's Drop-Off Area at 819 CR 529 in Lake Panasoffkee during its open hours.
Get it ready
Keep contractor-generated debris out of the district pickup entirely, because the district states that construction debris and commercial lawn debris will not be collected and that all contractors have to remove their own material, including builders, roofers, carpet installers, tree trimmers and lawn crews. Separate clean material before a county drop-off trip, where the load is priced on the county fee schedule.
Bulk pickups are scheduled by district and capped at five items
Bulk pickup is scheduled by phone for the district the address sits in, and the limit is strictly five items per pickup, with a sixth item requiring its own pickup and fee. Districts 1 through 11 add ten dollars to the monthly One-Bill each time a pickup is requested and schedule at 352-748-0109, while Districts 12 through 15 are not charged an additional fee and schedule at 352-750-0000. The District may add charges for loads that exceed policy limits, need special handling or came from contractor work.
Limbs and branches must be five feet or less and under five inches in diameter and each bundle under 40 pounds, and everything has to be tied and placed at the end of the driveway before the collection time. Palm fronds are stacked and tied in the same direction, clippings are bagged, and a household may set out seven bundles or bags per collection day, with anything over that limit left for the resident to remove. Contractor-generated yard waste is excluded from district collection.

Schedule the district bulk pickup
A Villages household in any district with up to five large items such as furniture, a mattress, an appliance, a television, electronics, exercise equipment, a grill or a lawn mower.
Cost & conditions
$10 for added to the monthly One-Bill for each bulk pickup requested in Districts 1 through 11, with no additional fee for Districts 12 through 15 and possible extra charges for over-limit or contractor loads. Villages Community Development District residents scheduling with the number for their district and staying inside the five item limit.
Arrange it
Call 352-748-0109 for Districts 1 through 11 or 352-750-0000 for Districts 12 through 15, then set the items out for the assigned pickup day.
Five items per pickup, wall-to-wall carpet and padding are never collected, contractor-generated construction and lawn debris are refused, and only minor homeowner remodeling debris is allowed.

Cost & conditions
The county prices the Citizen's Drop-Off Area on its own fee schedule rather than a flat rate, and recyclables are free, so confirm the load and the amount before hauling. Paint is not accepted there at all, and only small amounts of latex paint may be dried out and put in ordinary trash.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in The Villages?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.
Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?+
The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.
Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?+
Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.
Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?+
Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.
Can construction debris go out in The Villages?+
