Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.

More than three items needs a special pickup that is scheduled and charged.
Sofas, tables and chairs are named on the city's bulk item list, so furniture is collected at the curb once a week on the bulk day inside the three item limit, with a booked special pickup for a larger set.
Mattresses and box springs are named on the city's bulk item list, so a mattress or box spring goes out at the curb as a bulk item on the weekly bulk day and counts toward the three item limit.
Large and small appliances are named on the bulk list, and the white goods list is printed item by item: stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, hot water heater and toaster. Two handling rules apply, doors off every large appliance and every glass door taped diagonally corner to corner, and a Freon unit goes out only on the vegetation day.
West Palm Beach collects electronics at the curb as e-scrap inside the bulk service. The printed list covers computers, laptops, monitors, printer, scanner and fax machines, gaming systems, televisions, all telephones, VCR and DVD players and microwaves, so a television or computer does not need a separate county trip.
Construction material is not part of regular sanitation service in West Palm Beach. The city can collect it only on request at an additional fee, and material generated by a contractor or by a do it yourself project has to be taken to the county authority's landfill or a permitted facility by whoever generated it.
