The local disposal guide
Lawrenceville runs its own sanitation department inside the city limits instead of using the Gwinnett County program, so the rules come from Lawrenceville Utilities. Every sanitation customer gets two free large item pickups a week, but nothing bulky is collected on the ordinary trash day: large items are scheduled in advance and collected only on Fridays, with each item beyond the two free ones billed at ten dollars on the utility bill. Household trash stays inside the city-provided 95-gallon cart, recycling runs every other week on the same day as trash, and tires, batteries, paint, construction material and commercial waste are the owner's problem rather than the city's.

The city publishes appliances as accepted large items but does not publish a refrigerant or emptying rule of its own. No. The glass station accepts only food and beverage bottles and jars and lists televisions, mirrors, window panes, light bulbs, broken glass and windshields as refused. Use the scheduled large item service for a television.Official guidance
Two large item pickups a week are included with sanitation service, so an appliance, mattress, piece of small furniture or electronic item is normally free. Each additional item in the same week is billed at ten dollars, a full truckload of limbs costs two hundred dollars and a half load costs one hundred dollars, and the household has to be a city sanitation customer for any of it to apply.Official guidance
Addresses inside the Lawrenceville city limits are served by the city's own sanitation department, which handles residential and most commercial solid waste, curbside recycling and the scheduled large item service. The Gwinnett County program is mandatory in unincorporated Gwinnett with its own five haulers and rates, and the city directs addresses outside the city limits to the county instead.Official guidance
The city does not pick up tires, batteries, paint, blades and sharp objects, human waste, or commercial and construction material. The collection policy adds that no commercial or construction material is allowed on the street, and that leaves, grass clippings and limbs go out separately on the trash day rather than in the city cart.Official guidance
