Household hazardous waste is accepted on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., free to any Illinois resident with no appointment, taking aerosol cans with product inside, automotive fluids and oil-based paints, while latex paint has to be hardened and put in the trash and business waste is refused.
