When & how
If the district confirms the piece, it goes out with the bulk items on the regular trash day and is picked up by the secondary truck.

Keep the mattress dry and wrapped so the crew can lift it, and set it out with the bulk pile rather than on its own. Ask when you call whether a box spring or a bed frame counts as part of the same item, and keep the pile clear of poles, mailboxes and fences.

The curbside services refuse hazardous household waste, needles, construction material, large quantities of animal waste, human waste and dead animals, and contractor tree work is the contractor's responsibility.
