An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Large workout machines sit outside both the weekly carts and the county recycling programs, so the route depends on the size of the unit and what it is built from.
City cost & eligibility
The bulk pickup excludes large metal pieces, and the county states that it does not accept large workout equipment such as treadmills or ellipticals at its center. Confirm with Republic Services whether the machine fits the bulk item limits, and ask a scrap metal yard whether it will take the frame, because those operators set their own acceptance rules and charges.
