Will the city take it?
Large Item Pickup is an appointment service for eligible households in Louisville's Urban Services District. Cooling appliances, electronics and construction material use separate disposal routes.
TVs, computers and microwaves are excluded from Large Item Pickup. CyberCycle at the Waste Reduction Center accepts these and other listed devices.
City cost & eligibility
No electronics in Metro Large Item Pickup. CyberCycle has a separate three-item resident drop-off allowance and paid arrangements for larger quantities.

Can I book a pickup for today?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Your booking is for a pickup day, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Do my items need to be outside when I book?+
You can book while your items are still inside. Arrange any indoor carrying and have everything outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We load and haul it away from there. Contact us before booking if your property has restricted access.
Can I book a couch pickup outside the Urban Services District?+
Metro appointments serve the Urban Services District. Outside it, contact your existing waste hauler or small-city collection program.Official guidance
