Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

When & how

Get it ready
Strip the machine down as far as it will come apart and take the console off the frame so one crew can handle it. Keep it out of both carts, and check whether any part of the machine is a battery pack that has to be removed and taped before handover.
Bulky items are the single non-recyclable pieces too large for the blue cart, collected at a per item price. Fluids must be drained from a lawn mower or snow blower, refrigerator and freezer doors must be removed with drawers secured, and basketball hoops have to arrive in two pieces for a curbside pickup while goal frames have to be disassembled. Batteries have to be removed from electronics and the terminals taped.
