Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.

Every appliance needs its doors removed, and anything that holds refrigerant needs licensed removal and a tag first, which is what separates this group from the refrigerant units.
Single-family homes get weekly unlimited trash plus a weekly bulk item collection for anything safely liftable at the curb. Twice a year the city adds a cleanup week that takes bagged extra material on the regular trash day, and both routes share the same refusal list.
The handoff matters
Battle Creek asks for garbage, recycling, bulk items and yard waste at the curb by 6 a.m. on the collection day, and the bins can go out after 1 p.m. the day before. Bins come back in by 9 a.m. the day after pickup and may not be stored in the front yard, under ordinances 1064.23, 1064.26 and 1064.27. No container may weigh more than 50 pounds or be longer than 4 feet, and needles, oil, paint, turpentine and batteries never go in a container. Trash, recycling, bulk items and yard waste can arrive on different trucks at different times, so an early truck is not a missed pickup.
