Get it ready
Remove the doors from a refrigerator or freezer for safety, empty and dry the appliance, and set it neatly at the curb in the right of way. Keep it out of the street and off the sidewalk, and ask for help if the unit is too heavy to move safely.
Out after 6 p.m. the night before and before 7 a.m. on pickup day
Trash, recycling, yard waste and bulky items go to the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening before your service day and no later than 7 a.m. on the day itself. The hauler states plainly that all material has to be at the curb by 7 a.m.
In the right of way between the sidewalk and the street
Place bins and bulky items at the curb in the right of way between the sidewalk and the street, with containers separated from each other. Containers do not belong in the driveway, on the sidewalk or in the street, and the city asks that nothing extends over a sidewalk or the roadway.
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are observed. When one falls on or before your service day, pickup runs one day later than normal, and a holiday on a weekend causes no delay.
