Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named in any published city service, so a treadmill or weight machine goes to the chosen licensed hauler if it takes one, and otherwise needs a different disposal arrangement.
City cost & eligibility
No city rate exists for an exercise machine. Confirm with the licensed hauler whether it takes large equipment and what it charges, and describe the weight and size when asking, because a machine that needs two people to lift is often refused.

Get it ready
Take the machine down as far as it will come apart, remove the battery and any loose console parts, and keep the pieces together so a collector faces one pile rather than several.

The city is divided into several geographic regions and all trash in a region is collected on the same day each week, with a trash collection day map published separately. Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
