You have decided what is going. Now give those bags and boxes a pickup day, with a price you can see before anyone arrives.
Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.
You do not need a whole house of junk. Select the bags, boxes and larger items you actually have. Your combined price is shown online.
When the next collection does not fit your plans, choose a Dropcurb pickup day. Updates keep you informed, and completion photos show when the booked items are gone.

A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Large household items and electronics are not part of the weekly collection. The Town collects them on a paid schedule, with a base fee that covers three items and a smaller charge for each item beyond that, and the same route serves both bulky furniture and electronics.
Furniture is named on the Town bulky item list, so a couch, chair, table or similar piece goes out on the paid bulky collection. Carpet and rugs are on the list too, with the size conditions the Town publishes.
The Town list names beds including the box and mattress as items it collects curbside, so a mattress or box spring goes out on the paid bulky item route rather than in the trash cart.
The Town list names dishwashers, dryers, freezers, furnaces, refrigerators, stoves and stove tops, washers and water heaters among the items it collects, so an appliance goes out on the paid bulky item route. Refrigerators and freezers are on the collected list, while non-metal tubs, non-metal sinks and fiberglass are refused.
The Town collects televisions, computer monitors, electronics, stereos, DVD players, VCRs and microwaves on the paid bulky item route, so a set does not go in either cart. Dismantled computer parts are the exception on the Town list and are refused, while the county centers take electronics for free.
Exercise equipment is not named on the Town bulky item list, although general metal items are collected. The machine therefore has to be confirmed with Public Works before it is booked, because a refused item still carries the fee.
The handoff matters
After the Town receives payment, put the bulky items behind the curb where crews can easily reach them. A household that normally uses a rear alley for trash puts the items in front of the house, and a household with a Town dumpster puts them near the dumpster but never behind it, directly in front of it or leaning on it.

Yes. Estimate how many trash bags the small household pile would fill, and bag or box as much as possible. Select furniture and other larger items separately. There is no extra charge just because the pile is loose. Send a photo first if the count or contents are unclear. A household Dumpster Bag choice does not accept construction debris.

Move everything to an accessible outdoor spot before pickup; indoor carrying and sorting are not included.
