Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

The city does not collect construction debris at the curb and publishes no construction rate. Owner-occupied properties may deliver up to one ton of waste a year to the East Side Transfer Station under the published residency conditions, a qualifying pile can be booked through 311 as a Pick and Pay pickup, and a renovation load otherwise goes to a private hauler or the contractor doing the work.

Get it ready
Keep construction debris out of the bulk pile and the totes, separate recyclable metal and clean wood from mixed debris so a hauler can price the load, and remember that the transfer station allowance is capped at one ton a year for an owner-occupied property.
The district Large Bulk collection and Pick and Pay
A pile larger than the weekly allowance waits for the Large Bulk collection day designated for the council district, when material goes out the Sunday before the scheduled week and is collected some time that week, with the pile limited to four cubic yards. Residents can also book a special pickup through 311 as a Pick and Pay, which the city prices from a starting point for a pile measuring twelve feet long by three feet high by three feet wide.
The one ton year at the East Side Transfer Station
Owner-occupied properties may dump up to one ton of waste a year at the East Side Transfer Station at 793 South Ogden Street, with residential drop-off on weekdays from 7 to 9 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. Residents have to show a driver's license and a utility bill as proof of residency.
Televisions, computers, tires, construction debris, paint and other hazardous material may not be placed at the curb, and the city warns that breaking the curbside rules can lead to a fine. Tires go only to the special collection days, household chemicals wait for one of the two yearly hazardous waste events, and construction material moves through a hauler or the transfer station allowance.
