Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Freeport takes a small amount of project debris and nothing more. The village counts pails of construction debris toward the same six item weekly bulk limit as furniture and appliances, so a couple of pails can go out on bulk day, but there is no published route for a full renovation load beyond the Merrick disposal facility the village lists.
City cost & eligibility
The village publishes no construction debris rate. Pails of it are collected inside the six item weekly bulk limit, and larger volumes have no published curbside route, so call Public Works on (516) 377-2289 to confirm what will be taken and ask the Merrick facility on (516) 378-4210 about the rest.

Put pails of debris out with the bulk material on your second collection day, and hold anything larger until Public Works confirms a route.

Keep debris in pails rather than loose at the curb, count each pail against the six item weekly limit, keep concrete, brick and dirt out of the pile, and keep paint, solvents and other chemicals on the hazardous waste route instead.
