Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Get it ready
Break the machine down as far as it will come apart, tie the cord and loose parts to the frame so nothing trails into the street, and set it out by 6:30 a.m. on the scheduled day clear of cars, mailboxes, trees and containers. Remove a battery pack before the frame goes out.

When & how

Get it ready
Put the load out by 6:30 a.m. on the scheduled day in front of the home or at the alley line depending on where the regular collection runs, keep bulk and metal in separate piles, roll carpet into a bundle four feet long and two feet in diameter tied with rope, leave furniture assembled, and bag, bundle or contain anything loose. Tie yard waste into bundles of four feet or less and eighteen inches or less in diameter weighing no more than twenty five pounds, or use the free green debris drop-off at 2670 Wagner Ford Road, and tape broken glass and clean up any glass residue.
Out by 6:30 a.m., and the container back in by 8 a.m. the next day
Containers and bulk items are at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on the collection day, and the container comes back in from the curb line, alley or front yard no later than 8 a.m. the day after collection. The city notes that a household has a collection day rather than a collection time.
Metal appliances and other metal pieces are kept separate from the rest of the bulk load, because a different truck collects the metal on the same scheduled day. Yard waste is separated from everything else as well, and cut and tied into four foot lengths no more than eighteen inches in diameter.
Carpet is rolled into a bundle four feet long and two feet in diameter and tied with rope, furniture is left assembled, loose and small items are securely contained, bundled or bagged, and broken glass is taped with the resident cleaning up any glass residue left in front of the home.
Trash and recycling are not collected on a city holiday, and in a week that contains a holiday the waste collection service moves back one day after it. The published holiday schedule and the Dayton Collects map show the affected days.

Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
