Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Building, remodeling and yard project material

Special rules apply

Lima routes building and yard project material to the Transfer and Recycling Facility rather than the weekly containers. A resident may deliver three cubic yards every three months of brick, broken concrete, wood, plaster, rock and waste building material there without charge, with a paid utility bill and identification at the station.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. Residents may deliver approved materials to the transfer station at no charge, including three cubic yards every three months of brick, broken concrete, wood, plaster, rock and waste building material, with a paid utility bill and proper identification required at the station.
When & how
Take the load to the Transfer and Recycling Facility at 1400 S. Metcalf Street, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to noon.
Get it ready
Count the volume before loading, because the resident allowance is three cubic yards every three months, and bring the paid utility bill with identification. Keep paint, oil, liquids and household refuse out of the load, and keep yard waste separate because it belongs at the curb or at the compost site.

Yard waste stays at the curb, and limbs are bundled

All yard waste goes to the curb rather than into the refuse container, tree limbs under two inches in diameter and no longer than four feet have to be bundled and tied, and a 65 gallon yard waste container can be purchased through customer service. Leaves, grass and other yard material can also go to the Lima Compost Site on East Hanthorn Road.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self haul in Lima means the city transfer station on Metcalf Street or a district program on Shawnee Road. Residents may bring approved material to the Transfer and Recycling Facility at no charge, including three cubic yards every three months of brick, broken concrete, wood, plaster, rock and waste building material and up to four used passenger car tires a year, and they must show a paid utility bill with identification at the station during the published hours. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Lima.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Lima?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Lima?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does building material go in Lima?

To the Transfer and Recycling Facility at 1400 S. Metcalf Street, where residents may deliver three cubic yards every three months of brick, broken concrete, wood, plaster, rock and waste building material at no charge. A paid utility bill and proper identification have to be shown at the station.Official guidance
