No charge. A mattress counts inside the four cubic yards of monthly bulky waste included for one and two family dwellings with active utility accounts. The landfill takes it as well, with residential loads exempt from the tipping fee once a quarter.

Set it out by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the monthly bulky week for the area, and treat it as part of the four cubic yard allowance.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry and clear of the ground where possible, and place it within ten feet behind the curb with five feet of clearance from obstructions so the grappler truck can reach it without damaging the yard or driveway.
Bulky waste is collected once a month, four cubic yards at a time, for large items, bagged yard waste and tree debris that will not fit in a poly cart.
