Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Televisions, computers and electronics

Accepted with preparation

Electronics have two priced routes. The city names electronics among the items eligible for its curbside bulk item pickup at 25 dollars per item, and the center charges small electronic items at 5 dollars, medium at 10 and large at 15, with any size television or monitor at 25 dollars.

City cost & eligibility
From $5 per electronic item at the Convenience Collection Center, priced by size band. The center's 2026 rate schedule lists a small electronic item at 5.00, medium at 10.00 and large at 15.00, with any size television or monitor at 25.00, and the city's bulk item pickup service names electronics as eligible and is priced at 25.00 per item on the residential rate schedule. Confirm the band for a specific device at the center.
When & how
Drop the device at 807 S. Perkins Road from Tuesday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm or Saturday 8 am to 4 pm, or book a curbside pickup on 405-742-8245.
Get it ready
Wipe personal data before a computer or phone leaves the house, keep devices out of the trash cart and the recycling stream, and bring the utility bill and matching identification to the center.

Weekly collection is part of the city utility rate

Stillwater's utility provides municipal collection for residents and businesses, serving single-family homes, duplexes, mobile homes and addresses up to three miles outside the city limits. Inside the city limits the monthly rate buys weekly household trash, weekly single-stream recycling, glass recycling on the first collection day of the month, weekly yard waste except on that first collection day and on holidays, access to the Convenience Collection Center, and curbside collection of Pay-As-You-Throw bags. Trash and recycling are collected even on holidays, but there is no service in the weeks of New Year's, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas, when pickup is delayed one day. The 2026 cart rates run from 17.36 a month for a 35 gallon cart to 23.11 for 96 gallons, with 96 gallons and house-side service at 35.17, and an extra out-of-schedule cart empty costs 15 dollars.

Bulk items have a curbside price and a drop-off price

The city publishes both routes. For a curbside collection the trash page says to call (405) 742-8245 to arrange pickup for furniture, appliances or electronics and to ask about fees, and the 2026 residential rate schedule answers that question with bulk collection at 25 dollars per item and a special collection fee of 25 dollars per two cubic yards. The drop-off alternative is the Convenience Collection Center at 807 S. Perkins Road, where furniture is 10, 15 or 20 dollars by size, any mattress is 10 dollars, electronics are 5, 10 or 15 dollars, any television or monitor is 25 dollars, wood loads and carpet loads are banded from 10 to 25 dollars, and metal appliances including microwaves, tires up to two a day without rims, scrap metal, car and rechargeable batteries, antifreeze and cooking oil are free. A move-in or move-out cleanup of 20 bags or boxes is free twice a year.

City of Stillwater Waste Management utility

Arrange a curbside bulk item pickup

A Stillwater utility customer with furniture, an appliance or electronics to clear without making a trip.

Cost & conditions
$25 per bulk item collected curbside by appointment. The 2026 residential utility rate schedule lists bulk collection at 25.00 per item, with a special collection fee of 25.00 per two cubic yards for larger piles, and the trash page tells residents to call (405) 742-8245 to arrange a curbside pickup for furniture, appliances or electronics and to ask about fees. Move-in and move-out cleanups of 20 bagged or boxed items are free twice in a 12-month period.
Arrange it
Call (405) 742-8245, confirm the item and the charge, and put the material out as directed on the arranged day.

The service is priced per item and is arranged rather than automatic, and construction debris is not part of it, so a renovation load needs the roll-off or special collection route instead.

A Stillwater utility customer with furniture, a mattress, electronics, metal appliances, tires, wood, carpet, yard waste or batteries.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Stillwater's waste service is a city utility, and it publishes both the curbside and the drop-off price for large items, which makes the choice straightforward. Inside the city limits the monthly rate runs from 17.36 for a 35 gallon cart to 23.11 for 96 gallons and includes weekly trash, weekly single-stream recycling, glass recycling on the first collection day of the month, weekly yard waste, curbside Pay-As-You-Throw bags and access to the Convenience Collection Center, with no service in the weeks of New Year's, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas and a one day delay in those weeks. For a large item a household can call 405-742-8245 to arrange a curbside bulk pickup at 25 dollars per item, or 25 dollars per two cubic yards for a larger pile, and can also book up to two free move-in or move-out cleanups of 20 bags or boxes in a 12-month period. The alternative is the drive-through Convenience Collection Center at 807 S. Perkins Road, open Tuesday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 4 pm, where furniture costs 10, 15 or 20 dollars by size, electronics 5, 10 or 15 dollars, any television or monitor 25 dollars and any mattress 10 dollars, while metal appliances including microwaves, tires at two a day without rims, scrap metal, car and rechargeable batteries, antifreeze, cooking oil, sharps and clothing are free. The center requires a current utility bill and matching identification, prohibits trailers, needs an appliance with refrigerant to be purged with a certification sticker, and refuses construction debris and hazardous waste, so renovation material goes through the city's roll-off container service and household chemicals have to be checked with the utility, especially since liquid latex paint stopped being accepted on May 1, 2026 and must be dried before it goes into the trash cart. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Stillwater.

How much does TV removal cost in Stillwater?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Stillwater?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

What does it cost to recycle a television in Stillwater?

25 dollars for any size television or monitor at the Convenience Collection Center, according to the 2026 fee schedule, or 25 dollars per item if it goes out on the curbside bulk item pickup service arranged on 405-742-8245, which names electronics as eligible. Smaller electronic items at the center are 5, 10 or 15 dollars depending on size.Official guidance
