Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Text us about your setup
  1. Arrange any unmounting first.

Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

  2. Choose a permitted outdoor spot.

Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

  3. Show us the TV that is going.

Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Estacada households use the franchised curbside company for trash, recycling and yard debris, and Arrow Sanitary Service is the company that states it serves the city. A large appliance, a piece of furniture or another big item can be picked up by the franchised company even for a household that is not a regular customer, with a quote arranged by phone, and anything a household hauls itself goes to the Clackamas County Transfer Station at 19600 SE Canyon Valley Rd in Sandy or to Metro South at 2001 Washington St in Oregon City, where garbage is priced from a minimum charge per load up to 240 pounds and then by the ton. Televisions, computers and printers recycle free at Oregon E-Cycles sites, and paint, chemicals and other hazardous products go to Metro's household hazardous waste facility in Oregon City in household amounts of up to 35 gallons. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Estacada.

How much does TV removal cost in Estacada?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Estacada?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

Where do televisions and computers go in Estacada?

To an Oregon E-Cycles collection site, where recycling is free for up to seven computers, monitors, televisions and printers at a time, with keyboards and mice also free of charge. Find the nearest site with the state's locator or by calling 888-769-0149. Other kinds of electronics are not part of the program, and Clackamas County points residents to the Metro Find a Recycler tool and 503-234-3000 for anything else.Official guidance
