Get it ready

Arrange it
Put the extra bags out on the regular collection day during the cleanup week, and bring the single bulky items to the B Street Transfer Station on the cleanup Saturday between 9 am and 2 pm with the utility bill. Electric vehicle batteries, most explosives, large loads and containers and radioactive material are refused, and waste that the main transfer stations accept has to go there instead. Loads must arrive upright in sturdy boxes with lids secured, and medical sharps belong in an FDA cleared red container, with free empty containers available.

The station cannot accept vehicles or auto bodies, asbestos-containing material, burned materials or wildfire ash, flat or built-up roofing, loads of liquids, petroleum contaminated soil, radioactive metals or electric vehicle batteries, and customers are responsible for anything they leave behind. Electric vehicle batteries, most explosives, large loads and containers and radioactive material are refused, and waste that the main transfer stations accept has to go there instead. Businesses need a permit, an appointment and a fee, containers are not returned, and all facilities are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
